The paradigm of contemporary business management, particularly within the highly competitive and delicate framework of the hospitality and tourism sector, has increasingly gravitated toward the integration of human capital strategies with overarching organizational objectives. This comprehensive study aims to meticulously investigate the impact of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) on Service Quality (SQ) and Customer Loyalty (CL), with a specific and localized focus on eco-tourism resorts situated in the geographically and culturally significant region of East Gilan. Operating within a heavily service-oriented framework, eco-tourism resorts face the dual challenge of preserving environmental integrity while delivering exceptional guest experiences. By utilizing a rigorous quantitative methodology, this research relies on primary data collected through structured questionnaires distributed among both the management staff and the patrons of various eco-resorts across East Gilan in the year 2025. The core premise posits that advanced, strategically aligned human resource practices—encompassing rigorous recruitment, continuous employee training, performance-based appraisals, and comprehensive compensation mechanisms—serve as the foundational architecture for elevated service quality. This superior service quality, in turn, acts as a primary catalyst for fostering deep-seated customer loyalty, a metric essential for the long-term sustainability and financial viability of these sustainable tourism enterprises. Through a granular analysis of these interconnected variables, this study seeks to address existing theoretical gaps regarding the SHRM-SQ-CL nexus in emerging eco-tourism markets. The findings are anticipated to offer profound theoretical advancements and highly actionable empirical insights for policymakers, resort managers, and regional tourism boards aiming to optimize their human capital to achieve sustainable competitive advantages in a rapidly evolving global tourism landscape.
