This study aimed to investigate the effect of empowerment on employee productivity in the municipalities of Gilan Province. A sample of 384 employees was surveyed using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was verified through Cronbach’s alpha, and content validity was ensured by expert review. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses, revealing that psychological, structural, and administrative empowerment significantly affect employee productivity. The findings suggest that enhancing psychological empowerment, providing access to resources, and encouraging participation in decision-making can improve employee performance. Practical recommendations for organizational development are provided based on the results.
